To celebrate the cultural significance of video games, The Game Awards 2015 landed this week and the one and only Hardwell was approached to remix the soundtrack from a game of his choice. Earlier this week in an interview with The Game Awards, Hardwell mentioned that “The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time” is his favourite Zelda game. Known for his dedication, Hardwell took no time in remixing one of the iconic soundtracks from Ocarina of Time, “Gerudo Valley“.
Signature Hardwell touch is audible clearly on this excellent rendition as he transforms the melody of “Gerudo Valley” into a bangin’ anthem. Plucky sound over melody unveiling the roaring synths and building up to unleash the massive drop, that’s how Hardwell rolls and this remix is no exception for his style. With this remix, Hardwell joins the DJs like Dash Berlin, Afrojack, Steve Aoki and more to remix the video game soundtracks that inspire them as artists and to blend the elements from both the industries.
