eden-review

Rumoured to be loosely based on the lives of Daft Punk duo  Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo  and Thomas Bangalter, the French movie EDEN is out with it’s first trailer after gaining much praise in the festival circuits. Directed by Mia Hansen-Love and co-written by Sven Hansen-Love this movie covers the rise of house music in Paris and New York in the late 90’s era.

Daft Punk have made a generous gesture by licensing 3 of their tracks for a meagre $3,700 to this film. One follows a young DJ self narrating throughout his journey of the electronic dance revolution which takes place in France and US through Eden. With the soundtracks in the right place and just the perfect notch of the narratives, Eden rises out to be a must watch for EDM lovers. Checkout the trailer below.
