Dyro – Set Me Free [EP]

Dyro - Set Me Free EP

Protegé turned dance music superstar, Dutch DJ Dyro has grown under the mentorship of fellow producer Hardwell to find himself a place in the industry and by the looks of it, his creativity does seem to be on the right path. Moreover, with the grimy and heavy electro sounds that he represents on his own WOLV imprint, the young talent has come a long way since his humble beginnings at Revealed Recordings.

Kicking off 2016 in the right manner, his brand new Set Me Free EP has stepped up the production standards by a fair margin. The 4-track EP gets inaugurated with the title track in collaboration with Loopers. With a previous combined effort for “Jack It Up” already under their belt, their latest goes up a notch and furthermore revives real electro house flavors. Next up is “Surrenda” with native artist Le Prince and boy, is it crazy. Not undermining the other tracks in any way, but this one takes the prize for infusing reggae and trap/dubstep vibes together to dub itself as a future festival banger. The third track is a killer collaboration titled “Predator” with Dutch hip-hop crew Dope D.O.D which sees the MCs slay the wub filled beat. Dyro signs off the EP with a solo production, “Artifact”, a mainstage ready single filled in by punchy kicks and grungy synth work with slight Middle Eastern influences.
