Each stage had a theme, and a specific genre of dance music associated with it. Kicking off the festival on Day 1 were the contest winners, who were given a chance to showcase their talent at the Good Times stage.
The Space Station treated fans to pure, unadulterated house and techno. With artists like Arsh, Mescalito, BLOT, Eelke Kleijn and Jamie Jones dishing out some of the finest, grooviest music, the fans were truly in for a delight.

Going back to the roots of Goa and trance, the Space Jungle stage was completely dedicated to psy-trance, with the likes of Starlab, Sonic Species and Eclip taking the listeners into a state of trance.
One of Sunburn’s most renowned stages, Cubezoid, hosted Shaan’s own ‘Shaan & Friends‘ stage, with Kash Trivedi kicking off the proceedings at the stage, and Shaan playing a B2B set with Deniz Koyu to bring the stage to a close.

One of the festival’s main attraction, the Dance Temple stage, hosted the likes of Joshi, Anish Sood, Klingande, Deniz Koyu, Danny Avila and the headliner Sander van Doorn. With Joshi playing a sublime opening set, followed by Anish Sood and a live  set by Klingande, the stage was all set for Deniz Koyu, Danny Avila and Sander van Doorn. While everything went smoothly for Deniz Koyu‘s set, Danny Avila‘s set was unfortunately marred by some technical difficulties, which only allowed him to play for 15 minutes. However, with all that taken care of, it was time for headliner Sander van Doorn to take the stage.  Needless to say, great music blared from the Dance Temple stage while confetti and balloons surfed the crowd. Watching the mass swerve to Gold Skies was almost enthralling as one comes to terms with how filial the crowd seemed to turn under the influence of one track.

Apart from the music, the flea market and various food stalls thrived! The various caterers pleased with a wide variety of cuisines and absolutely drool-worthy food. The various activities took charge too, from paragliders in the air to the various river cruises. Vagator was a splendid sight in the setting sun and we can only wait to see what Day 2 has in store!
