ABGT100 was a monumental landmark for Above & Beyond. Celebrating the 100th episode of their iconic radio show Group Therapy at perhaps the world’s most iconic venue, Madison Square Garden in New York, dance music’s most beloved trio wrote their name in legend on the 18th of October.
The aftermovie follows Above & Beyond‘s wonderful journey to New York, from being mobbed by ecstatic fans at Time Square, where they premiered the video of their single “We’re All We Need“, which drew the ire of some cops, to taking over Madison Square Garden for a euphoric 6 hour session of Group Therapy, where they were supported by artists such as Ilan Buestone, Andrew Bayer and Mat Zo. The short film explores Above & Beyond‘s love for music, their fans, their fans love for them which transcends into an ethereal relationship, purely bound by the virtue of of their emotional music, which has managed to move and change the life of every soul who has ever listened to them.
The aftermovie also takes a look at the preparation of the entire event, including the preparations for the 6 hour live video stream, a first for Group Therapy, and numerous interviews before the show.
