The Budweiser Made Stage aimed to bring local talent to the fore marking a brand new voyage in cutting edge music fused with immaculate visuals and stellar performances. With the promise of a journey that extends to 4 cities and 4 unique stages & Dance Music cultures, the Made Stage will complete its epic journey this Friday at the enthralling Baxters at Morjim Beach, Goa. The sun kissed shores will welcome the phenomenal homegrown talents, illuminating the last crescent of a new cycle of Dance Music culture, that is driven by creativity, a penchant for perfection and the never-ending hunger for experimentation – all as envisioned by the Budweiser group.
Following their fantastic events at Sitara Studio, Mumbai, Hauz Khaz Social, New Delhi and Pebble, Bangalore, the party moves to Baxters, Goa with the glistening lineup of Teddy Boy Kill, Func, Hashback Hashish, Don Bhatt & Vinny Bhagat. Having both known and played with each other for years, starting with Bombay Black as early as 2001, through to Envision in the mid 2000s, and then on to Teddy Boy Kill, Hashback Hashish, Shaair & Func, and Passenger Revelator – all these artists come from a long and distinguished pedigree, either as solo artists or via collaborating with one another in some form.
The finale promises to be special – giving one of the rare occasions to see six musicians and friends come together to perform under one bill. Opening with Donn Bhat + Passenger Revelator, moving to Hashback Hashish and Teddy Boy Kill, and closing with Func, the performances will be woven together and visually curated by Vinny Bhagat AKA Shivnakaun, who will deploy audio responsive algorithms and visual interactive elements via a combination of over 300 square feet of LED walls, five projectors, and a lot of bass. With the newly opened Baxters as the venue, the space combines the best of the beach at Ashvem and the kind of music that Goa is sorely missing – more progressive, banging electronic music.
