For those of you who believe Daft Punk changed the face of music with ‘Get Lucky‘ and ‘Random Access Memories‘, you’ve probably missed their contributions in the last two decades. The pioneering French duo, renowned for their careless fusion of electro with funk and various other flavors of electronica, blues & pop, have time and again reinvented themselves through their iconic Live albums. And none stand more as a testament to their ingenuity then their 1997 & 2007 Alive albums. What followed was a world tour, which bought the entire Daft Punk experience to the fore and carefully put electronica at a stage where it had never before been observed from. The good news is that, folks who missed the entire era when Daft Punk were changing the face of music, have the chance now to relive it through their ‘Alive 1997 / Alive 2007: Deluxe Edition’ box set!
This box set features fully re-released vinyl versions of the two albums, which bring the raw & crisp nature of the arrangements to attention, alongwith a very sepcial 52-page photograph book documenting Alive 2007, a replica VIP Pass from the 2007 tour and downloadable copies of both albums.
