Two of the biggest names to emerge from the Trance realm, namely Matt Cerf and Ost & Meyer recently collaborated on a brand new project for Always Alive Recordings called ‘Like We Love‘. The veterans have time and again laid emphasis on the emotive capacity of Trance music through their music making and that is on full array here with their new single. The vocals have been provided by celebrated singer-songwriter Fenja and the pack features two more remixes – one from Avenue One and India’s shining light and man-of-the-moment Joshi.
The original follows a comforting summer vibe, as we reach the peak of the festive season. Delightful beats and uplifting synths coalesce with Fenja’s sultry vocals to give the perfect summer sign-off track. The first remix from the pack is from Avenue One – which is the secret side project of two producers, giving the track a solid, progressive trance vibe with a revamped melody. A clear sign of what’s to come when these two talents join forces, Avenue One is a name you’d like to remember in the coming months. The second remix from, Joshi takes the track down a deep house route, slowing the tempo and giving Fenja‘s vocals the jazzy, chillout aura that a summer tune truly should invoke. An unmistakable piano lead eases us into a powerful groovy bassline that takes the track into an unexpected direction. Gnarling basslines, moaning synths, dark undertones only further extend the alleviating powers of Fenja‘s magical vocals. This one’s surely for the keeping.
