So imagine beating that endless line, with the simple swipe of your wristband! Its simple. The company had already decided to distribute its bands at events, including the British Summer Time music festival, which it sponsors, ahead of a consumer release next year. Barclaycard plans to make the bands free of charge and will allow them to be used by the majority of UK card users, not just its own customers! With the advent of said technology, we maybe entering a new era of contactless payments, making the viewer experience at Gigs and Festivals a lot more easier and comfortable.
