Well, this is perhaps one of the biggest news in this musical quarter! Former Swedish House Mafia members Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell, after a string of releases, collaborations and peek-a-boo announcements, have now finally confirmed that they are indeed collaborating for a new project called Axwell / Ingrosso! Following their DEP/RTURES residency at Ushuaia in Ibiza last year, the duo have collaborated for tracks such as “Roar” and the recent “We Came, We Rave, We Love“. The duo are set to perform at the Governor’s Ball at New York on June 8th, and if all falls into place, we may see the Official debut of Axwell / Ingrosso!
Its official.Me and @Ingrosso are finishing our first album and Zane played you a small clip tonight…Looking forward to this new journey!

The Official announcement was first made by Zane Lowe on his BBC Radio 1 show, following which personal statements were made by both Axwell and Ingrosso via Twitter – thus confirming the collaboration and news of the album. While the two Dance Music giants have collaborated frequently over the years – past & post the Swedish House Mafia era – this is the first time the two Swedes will come together for an LP release! The duo have kicked off the announcement with the launch of their Official Facebook Page Axwell / Ingrosso, as Zane teased their latest collaboration “This Time We Can’t Go Home“. Kicking off with an emotional lyrical intro including vocals such as ‘..dawn of a new beginning..‘, the intro gives us a euphoric preview of times to come with this superstar duo! We now await with bated breath at further announcements and previews of this mammoth collaboration project! Stay tuned for more updates!
