Marcel Woods Announces Retirement From DJing

Marcel-Woods

After Deorro recently decided to step away from the decks, the eminent and respected trance maestro, Marcel Woods too bid a heartfelt farewell to his fans on Facebook as he announced retirement from his active DJ career.

The man who gifted the world with groundbreaking trance tunes during his time, has to live up to the responsibility of being a loving husband and a father of two little ones besides being a great DJ/producer; and as if those aren’t duties enough, he is also the CEO & artist manager at his own artist agency, 2-Dutch.

With 2-Dutch currently fostering promising artists such as Showtek, Jordy Dazz, Justin Prime and TV Noise under Woods, the gig life will officially take a backseat for him so that he can spend more time with family. Even though this feels like the end of an era, the DJ reassured his fans that he’s definitely not going in hiding from his profession, saying “Even if you won’t be hearing new releases or DJ sets with contemporary music anymore, I can and will not completely let go of my profession and will therefore sporadically tear down a party with the classics concept ” Bring Back The Music”” as he signed off.
