One of Spinnin’ Deep’s newest previews, and Pete Tong’s Essential New Tune, this new tune is pegged by Spinnin to be this summer’s newest anthem called Bullit.
What a wonderful choice, with a brilliant blend of progressive, electro and deep elements by newcomer Watermät. Staring off with a mellow, subtle beat, it’s got a very minimalistic yet unbelievable synth hook anchoring the track. Adding a few synth horn samples. The break leads into an uplfting synth arpeggio that lifts you all the way to summer heaven. When the beat comes around, it’s much more prominent this time, yet it seems to stay within the threshold of a soothing sound, all the while complimenting the tone of a very deep, yet groovy bassline.
It’s even got an official summer-themed video to go with it, complete with pretty hula girls as well.
This beauty is out on May 19th.
