Ryan Reddon, or as we know him, Kaskade has been really treating us to goodies with his free music give-away Mondays. This Monday, he had uploaded his 9th studio album, Fire & Ice, and apparently while digging around on his hard drive to find something special to give to his fans, Kaskade came across an ancient remix of ‘In This Life‘.
In This Life‘ saw its official release in 2006 as part of Kaskade’s fifth album, Love Mysterious and later as its own EP in 2007. The production is pretty old and was created back in 2003 and the remix was unreleased, but Kaskade recently uploaded it to his soundcloud page, for all of us to hear. It’s much slower and smoother than the original, but still retains the original’s housey groove. The vocal work is completely on point and is a delight for the ears. It’s filled with atmospheric synth samples and a mild synth chord progression over a break-beatish pace.
