The banana lovers of EDM and goofy duo Dada Life have always been known in the industry for their naughty antics and spirited shows. Unfortunately this time around, the twosome act will not be performing together at Remembrance Festival as it has been confirmed that Stefan Engblom, is en route to their home country of Sweden for last-minute surgery.
The news comes as a disheartening shock to the music community, but fans need to gear up to Olle Corneer, the other half of Dada Life who will get rowdy on stage (He’s also carrying on alone to the pair’s scheduled shows in Las Vegas and Idaho this month.). The duo was all geared up to take off a massive performance on March 27 – the Swedes are scheduled to play at the Remembrance Festival, an all-star Miami Music Week party to aid cancer research and commemorate the life of the Bingo Players’ Paul Bäumer.
“We wanted to let everyone know that unfortunately Stefan has had to fly back to Sweden to have some urgent abdominal surgery. It has to be done now to prevent more serious conditions in the future, as of right now we don’t know the recovery time but will have a timeline from the doctors in the coming days and will keep you all posted.” is what they informed us through a press release.
