India, a country fairly new to the amusing world of dance music, has only recently started yielding promising up-and-coming artists, some of the alluring examples of which would be Zaeden, Progressive Brothers, and many more. Now, yet another Indian artist rises up to the occasion with the recent announcement of his upcoming solo EP called ‘Recess‘. You read that right, a whole new EP by one of the newest youngsters from our country is on its way to give you a taste of what new talent sounds like!
Aditya Ashok, a Mumbai based artist better known by his stage name OX7GEN has been associated to electronic music and DJing for quite some time now, and is also a prominent drummer. What’s new? ‘Paragon‘, the first track from his forthcoming ‘Recess EP‘ is now up on SoundCloud and it’s just pure magnificence. This splendid track only signals what blockbuster of an EP ‘Recess‘ is going to be!
The track is a mixture of soft and calm kicks at the start, with some distorted chilling sound effects in the back to support them with before the harder kicks get unleashed. It sounds perfect when all the sound effects, kicks, synths and percussions get unshackled together and a decorous and befitting melody then kicks in to giving the music a final touch. All in all, this track is going to help you chill and relax with its satisfying steady progress.
