The dutch heavyweight producer and DJ, Tijs Michiel Verwest, better known as Tiesto has been sent to the San Jose Hospital after he allegedly passed out on stage prior to his performance at Electric Bounce House Festival in California. Tiesto was schedule to play a closing set at the 1-day festival which had to be called off as he was rushed to the hospital. Electric Bounce House was a single day festival that took place at the SAP Center in San Jose with Afrojack, Calvin Harris, DJ Vice and Tiesto as headliners.
With a packed schedule and hectic lifestyle, artists hardly have time to take care of their health and with Tiesto, one of the world’s popular DJ, it becomes even more tough to acquire some rest. Some of the reports claim that Tiesto collapsed just before his set at Electric Bounce House festival and he might have injured his head with the fall. It is still very unclear of how everything went down there but it seems medical service has been immediately provided to Tiesto and he’s currently at San Jose Hospital in California.
Some of the reports are now claiming that Tiesto might have performed one song prior to being rushed to the hospital by paramedics.
We hope Tiesto is fit and fine, and returns back quickly to do what he loves the most. He is also scheduled to perform at Ultra Music Festival this coming weekend and our prayers are with him for his healthy return. Do watch this space for more updates.
