Following arguably the biggest year in 2013 which saw him garner immense acclaim upon the release of his track, “Animals“, record breaking producer/DJ Martin Garrix has decided to give his latest banger, “Proxy”, to his fans for free as a gift for all their support.

Following up from the release of his track “Wizard“, the breakthrough superstar has been stepping out of his comfort zone of production. The recently released, “Helicopter” came as slight departure from his usual style and his latest work is another solid move in the same direction.

With “Proxy”, Garrix manages to surprise his supporters whilst flexing his melodic muscle and swapping his stage friendly climax for a dutch-influenced one. Opposed to his prior productions, the drop of the track blends in perfectly with the swaying melody, making for a subtle but intelligent experimentation. A great production from the young producer as he works with some off-tempo leads which merge with a crushing build up bursting with spine-tingling synths.
