Bangin Beats HQ is a buzz again with this new release from one amongst our list of favourite producers, Andrew Bayer. This gorgeous big-room beauty was first unleashed onto the masses during his unforgettable set at Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy 50 celebrations.

The track derives its name from a musical scale, called “Lydian”, that the earliest version of which was constructed upon. Since it has seen a multitude of facelifts since, it was christened “Once Lydian”.

The production itself, with what is now becoming Andrew’s signature approach to big room production, begins with very familiar hard hitting electro stabs. All this changes once we reach the indescribably gorgeous atmospheric melody at the breakdown. This melody lifts up, becoming more prominent as the track progresses, and finally culminates in a climactic blend of the melody, signature Andrew Bayer counter melodies, and a driving bassline coupled with an energetic beat, before going back to its original electro stab form.
