Young French producer Madeon has announced that he has begun to work on his debut album, via an interview with MTV. After his recent work with Lady Gaga on Artpop, Madeon felt it necessary to experience music outside of the electronic fraternity, so that he’d have a trick or two up his sleeve when it came to his own album productions.

Madeon also mentioned to Dillon Francis that he intended on embarking on a five month long studio session in order to develop his upcoming project. We’re certainly stoked to hear anything Madeon, the boy’s an absolute wizard. We’ll keep you updated with anything, but it’s pretty certain the album shall release next year.
