Lady Gaga – Applause (Empire of the Sun Remix)
Queen of pop in today’s generation, Lady Gaga garners attention from every corner of the world as well as every genre of music. Quite naturally, her tracks are bound to be remixed and Applause is a radio-friendly track, that’s seen its fair share of remixes being dished out. This time, it’s the eclectic Empire of the Sun that have taken on remixing duties. Infusing galactic disco synths, they’ve scaled the BPM back and thrown in their own ambient vibes, elegantly re-constructing this track. The Australian duo even go as far as to provide their own vocals, along with additional percussion. ARTPOP, Gaga’s third LP, will be out November 11th; preorders are available on iTunes. Steve Angello defends Lady Gaga, extends support towards creativity!
As Lady Gaga‘s much publicized upcoming album, ARTPOP, approaches and with a track from the album already having leaked last week, fans across the globe are becoming more and more keen to see what the final product shall sound like.
Certain people have also gone on to criticize Gaga on a number of different aspects including Deadmau5, saying that she has taken it too far this time. Steve Angello, however has chimed in on the matter applauding Lady Gaga for her creativity.
Lady Gaga’s “Burqa / Aura” surfaces; rumoured to be produced by Zedd and Infected Mushroom
Back in October, a Twitter thread nearly revealed one of the records Zedd had produced for Lady Gaga and quite a few people went on to tell Gaga about their excitement to hear that she was working with Zedd, Gaga responded, “We’re all good [Zedd] miss you buddy been listening to **rq* all day”.
The five-letter word could only be assumed as a track title with three hidden characters, but it seems to finally have been revealed as a demo from Lady Gaga’s forthcoming ARTPOP has leaked. The track is dubbed as “Burqa”.
The leaked tune reveals Zedd sticking to his artistry for Gaga’s newest work, a polished sound that would fit in with Clarity but that’s only the half of it, literally….
While the demo is also rumoured to be a dual record with a two-part title, it’s believed that Infected Mushroom are responsible for the second half known as “Aura”. Their contribution had been originally posted to SoundCloud one year ago without a name and could be found below.
Zedd talks about producing Lady Gaga’s new album
Powerhouse producer, Zedd has been hard at work with the eccentric pop-star Lady Gaga, producing her upcoming album titled “ARTPOP”. The young dance music prodigy was quoted to be saying that he’s quite excited about the duo’s work: “…I think the stuff we’ve made is pretty fucking cool”.
