Deadmau5‘s back with a new ‘coffee run‘! Driving around in his Ferrari Spider 458, the ace producer brings along his friend, Tommy Lee of metal band Mötley Crüe in the latest instalment of his series. The two friends speak about a wide variety of topics, from Lee giving away his first ‘Gold Record’ to someone while wasted, to the unique hairstyle of a passerby (“It’s like a light bulb on his neck”).

The major highlight of the conversation occurs close to the 7-minute mark, when the conversation turns to Coachella 2010. Apparently, after an incident involving a helicopter, a burning van, and possibly someone’s girlfriend, both musicians were essentially banned from ever coming back to Indio Valley.

“That was insane, unbelievable”, Lee says. To which Deadmau5 says, “Dude, what? We just landed a helicopter in the middle of a field with a burning van… We take off, and this minivan spontaneously bursts into fire. All the fire department shows up”.

Lee goes on to say that he reckons the name of the promoter who took offence and banned them was either, “Toilette” or “Toilet” making for another funny moment.
