There seems to be no stopping Alesso these days. Just after announcing an epic North America tour, he has finally decided to give his fans a sneak peak of his highly anticipated track “Under Control”.
After teasing all of us by playing the instrumental version for over two years, Alessandro has collaborated with the mighty Calvin Harris and the super Theo Hutchcraft to help finish up the track.
“Under Control” starts with Theo’s vocals that begin over a set of simple and lighthearted chords. There is a subtle addition of percussion that comes together with some piano beats. Just as the chorus finishes, the main melody of the track takes over. This is where you feel the biggest influence of this young Swede. After this, Calvin’s magic comes into play as he blends in his trademark grinding electro baseline. The track eventually drops into a progressive house anthem and gives you an uplifting feeling right away.
There is no release date set yet for “Under Control”. All we know is that it has all the signs of dominating both the festival and club scene, once it’s released.
