5 Festivals In August You Cannot Miss!

Come August, and we will see a host of festivals coming up, with some massive lineups. But which festivals are the ones you shouldn’t be missing out on? Don’t worry. We have that sorted for you. Check out our list of 5 festivals in August you shouldn’t be missing!

1. HARD Summer Music Festival

Set to take place in California on 1^st and 2^nd August, HARD Summer Fest boasts of a superb lineup, featuring the likes of Porter Robinso, Jack U, Dillon Francis, The Chemical Brothers, The Weeknd, Hot Since 82, Maya Jane Coles, amongst many others. 2. Creamfields

One of the biggest dance music festivals in the UK, Creamfields has been known for its tremendous lineups and cutting edge visual productions. Due to be held on the 28^th, 29^th and 30^th August in Cheshire, the festival features an exhaustive lineup, featuring the who’s who of dance music, from Armin van Buuren, Hardwell Tiesto, Martin Garrix, to Eric Prydz, Steve Angello, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, Avicii and many more. If you are a serious dance music enthusiast, we’d recommend you to not miss out on this one.

3. Reading & Leeds Festival

Another UK festival, as the name suggests, Reading & Leeds Festival takes place in Reading and Leeds respectively in the final week of August, with both the editions having the same lineup, albeit with different schedules. Leaning more towards indie rock and rock, the festival’s headliners are Metallica, Mumford & Sons, Alt-J, Kendrick Lamar, while electronic music is aptly represented by Deadmau5, Knife Party, Gorgon City, Jamie xx and many more.

4. Veld Festival

Scheduled to take place on the 1^st and 2^nd August in Toronto, the festival boasts of a fantastic lineup, with Deadmau5, Kaskade, Hardwell, Above & Beyond, Steve Aoki, Nikcy Romero, Oliver Heldens, Mark Knight all playing at the festival. More details on the festival here.

5. South West Four

Another festival in the UK (Boy, there are a lot), South West Four is held during the final week of August in London, with the likes of Eric Prydz, Faithless, Armin van Buuren pres. Gaia, Skrillex, Martin Garrix, Fatboy Slim, John Digweed, Adam Beyer amongst many others all playing the festival. All details here.
