We’re always thrilled to hear new music from an artist like Funkagenda. The man is a chameleon when it comes to music production. It’s rare to find an artist who strays from the comfort of his zone and ventures into the unknown to conduct experiments and that’s exactly what Funkagenda has done with his latest EP. Titled Samsara it consists of two tracks namely, To The Moon + Back and Half Man Half Drugs. Uniquely sounding in their separate ways, To The Moon + Back begins with an echoing, trance- like build up before unleashing a massive electro drop. Half Man Half Drugs begins with a familiar sounding progressive house intro merging into a darker, electro drop right after the voice sample signals it. We’re nothing short of impressed with these two tunes, and we’re sure they shall be established hits on the dance floor. With the EP finishing up in just over 4 minutes, Funkagenda proves once again why he deserves to be a musical virtuoso.
