It’s time for festival season and along comes a brand new anthem from one of the world’s best producers, Sander Van Doorn. ‘Neon’ which was first teased by Sander back in May has taken him over 1.5 years to finish but we can safely say it’s worth the wait indeed, unveiling a glistening new production with a bright yet uncertain future.
After a recent Pete Tong airing, Sander also went on to upload the entire club mix on his SoundCloud page and its nothing short of stunning. Encapsulating the modern sound we’ve come to identify with Sander perfectly ‘Neon’ has it all. A superb groove sets the tone nicely leading into an infectious melody reminiscent of Sanders ‘Koko’ whistle which certainly grabs the attention from the outset.
An epic string section leads you into the breakdown, which like a kaleidoscope of light opens up Neon with plenty of radiance and a dazzling array of layered sounds really captures the essence of the track and leads it to a brilliant climax.
‘Neon’ isn’t as big room as previous Sander outings in my opinion but, if you are looking for an epic club record with a great dynamic then Neon is the one for you. With a mirthful melody fit for a noble gathering and some masterfully executed string work to back it up, “Neon” is simply majestic.
“Neon” is slated for a July 29th release on Doorn Records, until then check out the official video now!
