Skrillex and Kanye West collaboration for Yeezus towed away

Music is now becoming more and more ‘glocal’. It is insane how quickly things can escalate and change in this industry. Now a little birdie told us that the mysterious album by Kanye West ‘Yeezus‘ which is being talked about like nobody’s business has taken a hit after the leak. It seems that everybody is part of this much anticipated album including Skrillex and now we heard that the track has been put in tow. Instead, the album had been led by Daft Punk, who produced four major tracks for Yeezus following their own Random Access Memories. But in a recent interview, album contributor Mike Dean reveals that the record was too dubstep for Yeezus and that it has been shelved for a later date.
“You’ll find there’s no bass wobbles on this album. Dubstep is really big right now, but it’s not something we could use in our production styles. We met up with Skrillex… there’s one song that’s sitting around that’s pretty good– it’ll be on something eventually. It had been in the running since last year. It’s a work in progress.” is what was said about the record.
We shall keep you posted on what’s coming next on this one!
Skrillex or no Skrillex, Yeezus is a killer album. Love the way he has blasted out about everything from black slavery to the civil disobedience movement to black consumerism with so much edge
