Going deep & dark seems to be something which tech house artists have turned to heavily as of late, but only a few pull it off as well as the Miami duo Cocodrills. Their latest release, “You’ll Never Know” on Zenbi Recordings throws at you a full-fledged dive into the darker side of tech house, sporting a bone-rattling phased bass and spaced out voices rounding out some great percussions.

The track builds into a lush vocal break with thoughtful lyrics in a genre that could use some more conceptual ambition. Cocodrills must be given tons of credit for a brilliantly worked record that boasts of incredible amounts of genuine artistry over anything else.
