Future bass purveyor Illenium has quickly solidified his position as one of the most exciting acts in dance music today. With the release of two studio albums, ‘Ashes‘ and ‘Awake‘ in 2016 and 2017 respectively, as well as remixes for the likes of The Chainsmokers, Flume, Marshmello among others, Nicholas Miller has certainly gone from strength to strength and developed a reputation for some absolutely stunning productions.
Post the release of his collaborative single, ‘Gold (Stupid Love)‘, with Excision, Illenium is back with his latest single, ‘Take You Down‘. Taking his struggles with addiction as the focal point, Miller spins around a beautiful track, complete with his iconic layered synths, and evocative vocal hooks, and the end result is an emotionally charged single that comes across as honest.
