Skrillex And Diplo's ‘Jack Ü’ Album Tops The Dance Music Charts

Jack Ü‘s debut album has been in the news ever since the day it was announced. The album has carried with itself, an immense number of surprises that has had fans going crazy with anticipation and excitement for the launch and to see what’s next in line for the album and the producers that are the masterminds behind it. The launch carried along with it so much style in the form of a 24 hour surprise set party that saw some exclusive new music being previewed and also showcased sets from other artists as well.

Going by the craziness levels both the producers are at musically and otherwise, it is really no surprise that the debut LP has taken the number one spot on Billboard’s Dance/Electronic Albums chart.

According to Nielsen Music, the album has sold 14,000 copies during its first week of availability.  For Skrillex, after Bangarang EP and Recess, this would be the 3rd album to feature on the top of the charts. Diplo’s two previous releases peaked at #2. This is one achievement that will have the both of them celebrating for a long long time.

4 of the album’s 10 songs found their way onto the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart. To Ü, Where Are Ü Now and Febreze joined Take Ü There and that being said, it is pertinent to note that Skrillex has successfully made Billboard history. The genius producer has had 18 entries on the Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart since it’s inception.
