This Swiss DJ/Producer revealed his debut release for Ministry of Sound’s sub label, HK Records with ‘Want You’. With his remix of Nora En Pure & Son of Maria’s, ‘Uruguay’ already claiming the 8th position in Beatport’s overall charts, ‘Want You’ definitely has a lot riding on it.
This brand new track is a pleasant mix between electro and deep house and boldly flaunts off EDX’s capabilities as a multi-skilled producer. While the bassline of the track is similar to his previous hits like, ‘Make Me Feel Good’ and ‘Cool You Off’, ‘Want You’ gets the deep house touch not only proving the DJ’s knack for experimenting with different genres but also is in tune with Ministry of Sound’s forward thinking music policy.
Having remixed for the likes of Calvin Harris, Avicii and Kaskade in the past, EDX has established his name profoundly in a decade of being in the dance music industry. Post Ministry of Sound’s 23rd birthday celebrations last September alongside Benny Benassi, this hotshot is set to round off his 25-date ‘Progression of Sound’ tour at this year’s Miami’s Winter Conference.
