Hugo Pierre Leclercq, lovingly known as Madeon, needs no introduction. The French prodigy, who gains inspiration from French greats Daft Punk, has started trending in music and video-game news alike with the announcement of his track ‘Imperium’, which is set to feature in EA Sports’ Fifa15!

EA is recognizing the love for EDM amongst the current generation and have added tunes from Avicii & A-Trak as well in the worlds highest selling video-game. What’s more: Avicii’s track ‘The Nights’ is already available here. However, with ‘Imperium’ being leaked on the internet only recently, EDM-Fifa fans have a lot to be excited about.

‘Imperium’ strays away from Madeon’s French-House style, likened to Daft Punk btw, into a darker and more sinister lead of synths with echoed electro-bass and heavy kicks. Madeon’s signature glitches can be heard in bit part throughout the tune and the catchy hooks are nothing short of eargasms. Fifa have always been known to select tracks that best suit the game and ‘Imperium’ doesn’t fall short in the least. If anything, ‘Imperium’ is a much needed breath of fresh air, in both Fifa and Electronic Dance Music.

Hugo has once again created a masterpiece and shone his awesome talents as a producer. Never one to be disliked, we guarantee that ‘Imperium’ will garner a huge fan following, from non-EDM listeners as well. But don’t take our word for it, check it out below:
