After hosting a successful string of events this past week, Informal and Wind Horse Records present to you the next iteration of your weekend dosage of some of the best underground electronic music on offer.
Informal and WHR present SLO MOTION Feat. YIDAM
Kicking off with the proceedings on Thursday, Yidam will be taking over the SLO MOTION showcase with his electronic ambient and chillout influenced sounds. The much acclaimed moniker of Varun Desai is the outcome of his habit of digging for eclectic music and playing for spaces which has consequently resulted in focusing on downtempo electronica and performing at alternative stages and unconventional venues. Also, the highly ranked artist has played extensively in the United States with a remarkable performance at Burning Man in 2008 including several other performances in the subcontinent and other countries such as Nepal, Poland, Switzerland, Germany and Portugal.
Informal and WHR present DANCE ATTACK feat. 5VOLTS
Friday will see an official kick-off to your weekend with DANCE ATTACK and will be headlined by the 5 Volts. The techno heavy moniker of Varun Desai will take things up a notch which involves the use of analog and hybrid synthesizers, sensors & interactive coding to create immersive audio-visual experiences in the oldschool/ambient techno head-space. Having played across venues in Europe, North America and the subcontinent, the untz-untz vibes for this one are on an all time high.
Informal and WHR present GROOVE BOX feat. DEEP BROWN
Saturday night will be one for the books as GROOVE BOX will play host to Deep Brown. The artistic expression of Ankur Kedia will showcase sounds put out from a mixed bag of music and emotions with deep & funky ready grooves and laid back melodic progressions shaping up towards the more intense beat driven sounds for the peak hours. Having kicked off his career in 2006, the enigmatic talent has played at the best clubs & festivals all throughout the subcontinent under his former collaborative project Undefined Dimension before finding his new direction. Deep Brown‘s sets are based on the old-school vibe of pure flow, smooth mixes and an on-the-fly approach of remixing to keep things fresh and connected to the heart of the floor. So, without further ado, get ready to kickstart your weekend a little early!
