Joel Zimmerman aka Deadmau5 has been rather busy of late. His hotly anticipated double-disc album “While (1<2)” drops next Tuesday, but in the meantime the superstar producer took off in the ‘Purrari’ for the Gumball 3000 race, an international supercar rally which Zimmerman and his co-pilot Tory Bellucci (of ‘Mythbusters’ fame) are also streaming live throughout their journey on live.deadmau5.com.
The mau5 has also been markedly vocal about his plans for his next tour, and has consistently been premiering tracks off the album at a rate of about one a week. First we were treated to the incredible, “Seeya“ and then later Zimmerman went on to unleash the album version of his production, “Infra Turbo Pigcart Racer“.
Now, Zimmerman has chosen to premiere the final version of another dazzling production from the forthcoming album titled, “Phantoms Can’t Hang” via tech-site Mashable. Now, avid fans of the dance music luminary would have already heard snippets of the tracks during Deadmau5’s captivating SoundCloud binge at the end of last year, but now you can listen to the full nine-minute progressive beauty and believe us when we say this, “Phantoms Can’t Hang” is one track certain to leave you wishing it was next Tuesday already.
