Turnstile Unveils Dual Music Video for Latest Tracks
Turnstile has released a new dual music video featuring their latest tracks from Never Enough, titled “Seein’ Stars” and “Birds.” The former track boasts vocal contributions from Paramore’s Hayley Williams and Devonté Hynes of Blood Orange. You can view the music video below.
The music video, directed by Turnstile’s own Brendan Yates and guitarist Pat McCrory, commences with two individuals in leather attire locked in an embrace beneath a disco ball. The camera gradually pulls back to expose a vibrant scene featuring youngsters in white clothes leaping around, an elderly couple swaying to tunes from a radio, a family attending to their baby near a pool table, among other vignettes. Midway through, the video shifts to drummer Daniel Fang poised dramatically with his drumsticks aloft on a picturesque, isolated stage. Soon after, the entire band gathers for an intense hardcore performance.
Anticipation Builds for Never Enough
Never Enough marks Turnstile’s much-anticipated sequel to their widely acclaimed album, Glow On. Set for release on June 6 via Roadrunner Records, the album is spearheaded by its title track, which was also accompanied by a music video directed by Yates and McCrory. The album was recorded across Los Angeles and Baltimore and produced by Yates himself. This album also introduces guitarist Meg Mills, who steps in following the departure of original guitarist Brady Ebery, marking a new chapter in the band’s lineup.
