Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorke Present New Album “Tall Tales”
Mark Pritchard and Thom Yorke are set to release their first collaborative album, “Tall Tales”, tomorrow. To promote the launch, they have unveiled a new music video for the album’s standout track, “The Spirit.” The video is directed by Jonathan Zawada, who is considered an unofficial third member of the duo due to his work creating mysterious short films for each of their previous singles. This latest video features a nimble skeleton navigating a digital ocean while dispersing glittering souls. You can watch the captivating video below.
Previously, Pritchard and Yorke worked together on the 2016 track “Beautiful People,” which was part of Pritchard’s album “Under the Sun”. Before announcing “Tall Tales,” they released singles “Back in the Game,” followed by “This Conversation Is Missing Your Voice” and “Gangsters.” In addition to directing the music videos, Zawada has also created and animated a full-length feature film to complement the album, which is screening in cinemas starting today.
