Featured as one of the “40 Best Dance Tracks of 2013 So Far”, Clockwork‘s latest dancefloor destroyer, “Surge” featuring Wynter Gordon is a heavy-hitting track that has dominated festivals and music charts alike.
After instantly striking gold with the single, Los Angeles-born & New York City-based DJ/Producer has handed remixing duties over to talents of the likes of Charlie Darker, Deorro, Tony Romera, and Riggi & Piros, four producers who no doubt translate the anthem in a multitude of ways.
The Deorro remix in particular has a very drum and bass feel, signature to his bass-laden sound, whereas the Charlie Darker remix has a certain high energy that amps up the prodigious track. “Surge” and its respective remixes prove to be as much fun and exemplify pure talent all across the board.
The remixes are out now on Steve Aoki‘s imprint Dim Mak, get it now on Beatport!

Born in Los Angeles but based currently in the Big Apple, young and upcoming artist Clockwork has just dropped the official music video to his tune called Surge. Part of the EP sharing the same name, this one has veteran crooner Wynter Gordon on the vocals. Coming onto the scene with various bootlegs and remixes through Soundcloud, YouTube and more, he caught the attention of Dim Mak boss Steve Aoki. This video takes on a visual art journey of unique styles and images portrayed through an artistic lens, both animated and realistic. Seems like Clockwork’s fond of nature, well so are we! Clockwork, a little while back grabbed everyone’s eyes with his 15k bootleg pack, which he gave away for free via his facebook page. After a bit of gap, he finally puts out some of his original work with this Surge EP and it seems to be one of his best works till date. Clockwork collaborates with the vocalist Wynter Gordon (who we all recognize from the hit ‘Ladi Dadi’) for the track ‘Surge’, which is the A-side of the EP. The other track ‘Tremor’ makes it up for the B-side of the EP which has a perfect laden electro house drop with tantalizing synth work. The EP comes out on Feb 12th under Dim Mak Records, do watch out for it. Until then enjoy these previews!
