Steve Aoki has collaborated with artists from all genres, and now he’s taking a more rock n’ roll approach to his collaborations, recently linking up with Linkin Park.

The new song, entitled “A Light That Never Comes,” first premiered August 10th at a Linkin Park gig in Japan, and ever since, the hype about the new song has been exponentially growing. Steve Aoki has been known to bridge the gap between several different genres, collaborating with everyone from Lil’ John to Travis Barker of Blink-182 and now he’s dabbling in the genre of alternative rock.

Mike Shinoda, the rapper and frontman of Linkin Park recently said “Steve and I met up like a year ago, maybe more. It happened pretty organically, just shooting ideas back and forth.”

Hit past the break to watch the live premier of their collaboration.

    • Read it carefully Rahul. It states that the song was first premiered at a Linkin Park gig. Not specifying that the video in the post is of that gig.
