Disclosure discuss why label pulled off the “Help Me Lose My Mind” video!

disclosure

There has been alot of speculation revolving around Disclosure’s massive single Help Me Lose My Mind feat London Grammar, the video of which was pulled off by their parent label. (Read more about that here.)

Now in an exclusive interview with Revolt TV, Disclosure talk about why such a strict course of action was followed. The brilliant British producer duo defend themselves by saying the video doesn’t glorify drug use at all, however, to a lot of the viewership, it may seem that the protagonists of the video could have been under the influences, as the video aimed to create a sense of euphoria and people having a good time.  But since a large number of comments  regarding drug use arose, it was pulled off so as to not hurt or offend any sentiments.

They then go on to talk about their involvement in the music video, and in the decision process. Check out the interview now!

British geniuses, Disclosure have released the video for their latest single, “F For You”. Hot off their magnificent debut album Settle. The video portrays an authentic live performance from the talented brothers, utilizing decks, drums, and their own voices while intricate artwork covers the background.

Disclosure’s very own Howard Lawrence sings the track and the video is a kinetic performance clip, showing both the Lawrence brothers at their futuristic-looking controls, shot on a soundstage that’s like like a spacecraft from a trippy sci-fi movie.

Disclosure – You & Me (Flume Remix)

flume-disclosure

After receiving remixes from artist like Baauer and Bicep, Disclosure‘s hit single “You & Me” off their debut album “Settle” gets some glitch-hop treatment from the up-and-coming Australian producer Flume. Completely transforming the original garage house track in his own way, Flume uses Eliza Doolittle’s vocals beautifully adding some mellow harmonies in the build up and a heavy synth bass in the drop. To be out soon as a part of the remixes package for “You & Me”, do watch out for it!

Disclosure – Settle (Album Review)

Disclosure - Settle

Much has been spoken of Disclosure, a British duo making waves in the dance music department with their funky sounds and groovy beats. These Surrey brothers namely Guy and Howard Lawrence – have been on a blitzkrieg, to say the least. With their debut album having just released, audiophiles and common people are raving praise for this sibling duo, who by the way, are born in the 90′s. In the past six months or so, Disclosure has had quite a bit of action in the international dance music scene, gaining recognition for a few singles, however, the sky’s the limit for them right now, because their album is nothing short of impressive.

Disclosure – F For You (Original Mix)

With previously released singles like  Latch“, “White Noise and You & Me already killing on the House charts the British electronic dance music band Disclosure have just released another remarkable piece off their forthcoming album Settle. ’F for You’ was premiered as a part of live session at the BBC’s Maida Vale Studios.

The song kicks off in a perfect chillout way, bringing in the sick bassline; that it’ll just become your track-of-the-month. With lyrics beautifully blending with the mad bassline you will just want to keep humming the tune to your fellows. The mid of the track again builds up that aggression through a nice drop and that uncontrolled desire to dance just shoots up. F for You is already doing very well on major House charts and we are ready for the release of full album on 4th June. You can check it out here for the full album streaming review of Settle.
