There seems to be no stopping Nicky Romero these days. After a smash hit like “WTF” that was released earlier in the summer, he comes up with “Iron” that was recently premiered on his radio show “Protocol Radio”.

Over the past months, Nicky has released countless tracks and collaborations with high profiles artists. While most releases have been worth several repeat listens, there is something unique about “Iron”. It’s like hearing the bass drop in “Toulouse” for the fist time: a genuine moment solidifying Nicky Romero’s rise to superstardom. For Calvin Harris, this is a massive departure from his recent torrent of releases, which have all been silky smooth easy to digest radio ready hits. The fact that Harris leant his voice to this collaboration is astounding.

The track has an electronic piano accompanying Harris’s lines in the song and this contrasts to the bass throughout the preview of the track. It’s an exciting track to listen to and will surely be received well throughout the world come September 10th.
