Ministry Of Sound appeals to avoid shut down!
It’s been decades since the Ministry of Sound has been battling proposal plans for a residential development to be built a stone’s throw away from the club. In the fear of its 24 hour license being revoked from the future tenants of the aforementioned housing society, MOS has now made an official plea to the London Mayor, hoping against hope that this iconic venue shall be kept alive for longer. However, plans have already been revised keeping MOS in thoughts, as 80 homes and 255 apartments would be furnished with acoustically sealed windows and partially sealed winter gardens instead of open balconies. On November 19th the Mayor will meet with both parties and decide whether to give the plans a thumbs up. Since the developer feels both parties can co-exist, things may brighten up after all!
