The BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix with Eric Prydz

Brace Yourselves, the Pryda Rennaissance is coming!
“To Beautify”, is what Pryda is, in Swedish. Could there be a more subtle and perfect name to describe the maestro’s music?! Attention Bangers! You’re about to find out (if you haven’t already) what the Prydasphere is all about!
The BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix is a coveted affair in the game, with big boss Pete Tong gracing the show with his usual panache and fine taste. Combine that with another master-man, and you’re bound to get carried away. I’m listening to it once again as I write this and I can’t help but tell you fellow Bangers that it’s giving me goosebumps like the worlds suddenly become a better place to live in!..
Yes, every bit of glorification for Eric Prydz is justified. In today’s scene where there are truckloads of releases everyday, some not so high in terms of quality, it is Mr. Prydz who’s constantly safeguarded his ingenuity and class with all his performances, be it his podcast, a radio show mix, a massive full length studio album, or his epic live sets. It is surprising that one man can constantly produce such mind numbing tunes.
This Essential Mix is Pryda’s third solo effort and it topples his last one by leaps and bounds. As is with his EPIC Radio Podcast, this mix features a few unreleased gems that are bound to catch you off guard. Tracks are from a wide spectrum of artists and most importantly, his protege/the junior Pryda in the making, who’s been similar in his sound to Eric Prydz – Jeremy Olander. 2 hours of some serious love got #PrydaEssentialMix all over the Prydasphere. Be prepared to be blown away by arguably The Best Essential Mix to date (beating his own in 2005 and probably Daft Punk’s in 1997), for these are tracks are as palpable to purists as they are for the commercial big room listeners.
Together at The Bangin Beats HQ we bow down to Sensei!

A small and similar suggestion as King Prydz: Soundproof the room you’ll be listening to it in adequately. You’ll definitely want to turn the volume up to maximum and dance like no one’s watching. As for us, thankfully our neighbours love some good music too!
