Tim Berg – Alcoholic (Cazzette’s Trapleg Mix) [Preview]

Tim Berg - Alcoholic (Cazzette's Trapleg Mix)

The 2009 Avicii classic – “Alcoholic” released under his alias Tim Berg, receives a trap remix from the Swedish duo Cazzette known for giving cheesy names to their remixes. Calling this one as their “Trapleg Mix”, its the duo’s first take on the genre Trap and they seem to be right on target with it. Cazzette previewed this trap mix at Ultra Music Festival, Miami and it received an amazing response from the crowd. They use the original melody of Alcohlic to perfection, turning it into a mega trap-banger. To be out via Avicii’s label Le7els on April 19th, watch out for it. Enjoy the preview right below until then.

Syn Cole releases his debut single – ‘April’ on Avicii’s label LE7ELS

Syn Cole - April
The anticipation is over now, Syn Cole releases his debut single on Avicii‘s label, LE7ELS. With initial forays into trance, tech-trance and progressive house this promising talent finally releases ‘April’ following up his immensely played out remix of Avicii – Silhouettes which recieved massive support from everyone. At the time of signing to Le7els, Cole said: “It’s amazing to be joining such a great label. My music can flourish as part of the Avicii family and I can’t wait for the world to hear my first LE7ELS release”.

We had the first look of ‘April’ about 2-3 months ago, and since then everyone was looking forward to progressive banger. It’s the first release of 2013 for the label ‘LE7ELS’, perfectly kick starting the year with this dance anthem. Filled with crisp chords alongside some catchy melodic synth work having a stomping lead and bassline, creating a signature progressive sound that we can relate to his remix of ‘Silhouettes’ in a way but at the same time it sounds astoundingly fresh & new. This Young Estonian DJ and producer Syn Cole is tipped to reach the higher degrees of EDM. We expect some more #bangin music from him in the coming days, which reminds me that he is all set for his next release ‘Miami 82‘, coming out soon on LE7ELS!

The original and progressive mix of ‘April’ are out now on Beatport.

Avicii vs Nicky Romero – I Could Be The One (Nicktim)

As we turn into the new year, two of Dance Music’s most prolific nations – Sweden and Holland – have joined forces to take on the world, as Scandinavian superstar Avicii and Dutch house maverick Nicky Romero prepare to release their hotly anticipated new record ‘I Could Be The One’ on Universal Music and Avicii’s label LE7ELS.

Originally and fittingly titled ‘Nicktim’, this startling collaboration between two of dance music’s finest has had fans salivating since the instrumental was first previewed on Pete Tong’s ‘Essential Selection’ show back in February 2012 following months of speculation.

Pairing Avicii’s infectious melodic talents with Romero’s big, high-energy sound, the result is a bold progressive house anthem from two of EDM’s fastest rising stars. Having been picked up on a groundswell of support, it has now been given the all-important vocal treatment and a brand new name to match.

Complete with an exquisite top line from Swedish pop singer  Noonie Bao, ‘I Could Be The One’ looks set to be one of the dance-pop crossover phenomenon’s biggest success stories as it continues to gather heavy support from across the board.
