Sound Avtar – Turbulent Flow [Preview]

Sound Avtar - Under The Light

Sound Avtar just showcased the preview of their track ‘Turbulent Flow’  and it has some sick, hard core drum & bass to it. Taken out of their EP ‘Under the Light’  the neurotic track has a unreal dark element to it.

Innovation seems to be the magic behind this track as the monster rears up unexpectedly to take charge of your surroundings and give you some serious bass treatment. Strained under the pressure of a serious guitar this track has some unusual beats. Turbulent Flow is as sacrosanct to your playlist as air is to human beings.  As the number progresses you will see some heavy influences of unique basslines and chords placing a depth emphasis on continuity to similar chords.

The young producer who hails from the Indian subcontinent has been getting some serious head turns for his unique mixes and earth shattering performances

The track is all set for release under Rub-A- Duck a sublet of Black Hole Recordings on November 4th.

Keep an eye for this young producer and check out the track here.

Camo & Krooked – Faith (Original Mix) [Preview]

camo-krooked-zeitgeist

When everything falls apart and you feel lost and have nothing to turn to music gives you the faith and strength to turn things around.  That’s why Camo & Krooked are asking for a little faith. Their new single is called just that. Faith.  “Faith” is taken from their hugely anticipated new album “Zeitgeist” out on the 30th Of Sept 2013 on Hospital Records.

The whole world is moving towards one giant dance floor, everyone is picking sides, picking genres, naming their favorite artists and raving about them on all social media. It is indeed a breath of fresh air to have a little Drum & Bass therapy. A not so heavily endorsed genre this showcase by the two artists shows it in a new light. Full power through and through the track breaks it down to lesser mortals into simplistic tunes. Packed with fast sharp beats and built in with a tremendous capacity to make you rave, rave like there is no tomorrow. The remarkable part of the track arrives with the vocals attacking the beats in an almost pre-meditated manner. This track is definitely unlike any other and is definitely worth a listen!

Check out the smashing track here and pre-order them on Itunes.

Drumsound & Bassline Smith – Pull It Up Selecta

Drum Sound and Bassline Smith Pull it up selecta

Drumsound & Bassline Smith have been in the drum and bass scene for a very long time now, way before drum and bass became as big as it is today. They’ve heard the sounds that changed mind sets, and now they want to bring those sounds back. They are known for serving up ace bass tracks and they have done so with their new one as well.

Drum and bass in the 90′s was very different from what we hear today. The trio have incorporated in “Pull It Up Selecta” what they started listening to and have encompassed into a 3 minute track, years of evolution. The track will feature on their upcoming album “Wall Of Sound” which is scheduled to release on the 15th of July 2013.

Nina Simone – Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood (Zeds Dead Remix)

Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood Zeds Dead Remix

Zed’s Dead has always had a special place in their hearts for Jazz and Soul. The canadian bass heavy duo have officially remixed Nina Simone’s “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood,” as homage to their love for the beautiful genre.  First heard on their 2013 Essential Mix, Zeds Dead rework the famous 1964 record into a deft drum ‘n’ bass track.

The production features the Nina Simone’s soulful vocals over high energy beats. With the addition of a soulful jazz paino riff. With a dream like breakdown in the middle, the track picks up all the way again to give that extra “POW”, in just the way ZD is known for.

Black Sun Empire & Noisia – Feed The Machine

In our effort to bring you a more diverse EDM experience, here is Black Sun Empire teaming up with Noisia to bring you ‘Feed the Machine’. Both are trios based in the Netherlands and veterans in the DnB scene across the globe. Part of Black Sun Empire’s new studio album From the Shadows, which releases on October 15th, the track starts off with heavy and dark synths bringing a very deep tech feel to it and eventually breaking into a typical DnB sound with hints of the deep tech throughout the piece. Usually with a Noisia track you expect a lot more break-beat and glitch to it but it seems like Black Sun Empire had a heavier influence in this number.
