Eelke Kleijn – Rampestamper (Original Mix + Guy J Remix)

Rotterdam based DJ and modern day composer, Eelke Kleijn, releases his debut track on Guy J’s sterling imprint – Lost & Found. Cut from the same cloth of supreme production as all his output this year, “Rampestamper” is another deep crowd pleaser that also echoes the melodic hooks of BBC Radio 1’s next hype track, ‘Stand Up’ and current Dutch Top 40 hit ‘Ein Tag Am Strand’.
From the brooding, hypnotic intro onwards, Eelke’s instant floor filler flows smoothly into a rising, euphoric record that just builds and builds. His signature swirls around a thudding 4/4 beat are ever present, but this one takes it that bit further – switching up the gauge to a hand in the air hook that shows off Kleijn’s immense range behind the mixing desk.
Paralleling such a talent is Guy J’s turn on remix duties that adds a deeper inflection to the track but all the while highlights a dynamic producer at the top of their game. Dissimilar, but still as accomplished as previous hit ‘Milestone’, Guy J’s own back catalogue is filling up with hit after hit and this take on ‘Rampestamper’ only adds to the impressive releases from his label just a year since its inception.
Available now on Beatport, be sure to grab it along with label head Guy J’s excellent take on the track!
Vinayak^A: Sands of Goa EP

New on Mesmeric Records comes a big EP from India’s fast rising progressive/tech star producer vinayak^a , featuring two brand new original tracks and a very cool pack of remixes. This EP has made me sit up and whistle at the talent and quality it carries in itself.
Title track “Sands of Goa”, is the first song on the EP and is a deep prog-house tune with hypnotic loops. The track is pretty solidly produce and has a beautiful vibe to it.
The second track on the EP is a remix of the title track by Hernan Cattaneo who has recently been named #133 on DJ Mag’s much criticised list and SoundExile. The Buenos Aires maestros deliver an awesome re-interpretation of “Sands of Goa”, starting with some almost techy sounds before developing one of these magic melodic loops.
On the other end of the spectrum, Pig & Dan turn the track into a chunky tech house number. Super remix!
The next track on the EP, “Sometimes It Just Turns Into Reality” starts as an ambient track with tons of intriguing sounds before venturing into deep progressive house territory. Some extremely well crafted sounds feature on this.
Finally, last track of the EP comes in the form of another remix from Michael Cassette, who delivers one of his unique 80s infused melodic and groovy numbers. Rounding up a well produced EP!
