Avicii releases the official lyric video of “Hey Brother”!
2013 has undoubtedly been a sparkling year for Avicii. Reaching career milestones at every turn, the release of his debut album ‘True’ in September has proved to be a watershed moment for the Swedish DJ and producer, indelibly marking his name on the collective consciousness of a generation of dance music fans in the process.
With ‘True’ continuing to dominate both the clubs and the charts, Swedish DJ and producer Avicii has now announced that ‘Hey Brother’ will be the third single to be taken from the record and is set for release via PRMD / Positiva on 23rd December.
Avicii – ‘Wake Me Up’ [Out Now]
Avicii releases the lead single ‘Wake Me Up’ off his forthcoming studio album ‘True‘, which is set to be out this coming September. First heard at Ultra Music Festival in Miami this year along with the entire album being debuted by Avicii on the mainstage and was also included in an free official mix by Avicii to promote his upcoming album. This track has been criticized and much talked about for months since then. Recently premiered by Pete Tong on BBC radio one, this multi-genre track is finally out now. Featuring vocals from Aloe Blacc, some folk guitar riffs and a groovy drop, Avicii presents a perfect blend of dance music and soul, folk, electronica & bluegrass in ‘Wake Me Up’.
