CLMD – Fader (Original Mix) [Preview]

CLMD Fader

Norwegian outfit, Carl Louis & Martin Danielle, Or their initials CLMD, are really cooking up a storm. With a debut remix for Axtone, a prompt relocation to New York and tour duties alongside Calvin Harris in tow, CLMDhave emerged as two of Norway’s hottest exports.

After a string of commercial remixes, their new production Fader serves as a shut-em-up for all those naysayers. The preview has got a really groovy retro feel, with an intro that includes very uplifting synth leads. It features very synth heavy with it’s chill vibe yet surprisingly energetic rhythm.  In our opinion, it’s got a sound that’s very akin to the Pryda Friends outfit.

All in all we love the fresh sound that CLMD has come up with and we can’t wait to get more of it. Fader is out on November 4th on Trice Recordings.

Discopolis – Falling (Committed to Sparkle Motion) (CLMD Remix)

Discopolis - Falling (Committed To Sparkle Motion) (CLMD Remix)

New York based duo CLMD (Carl Louis & Martin Danielle) make their debut appearance on Axtone but we’re sure it won’t be the last with this fresh take on an already classic vocal hit from Scottish quartet Discopolis.

Debuted by Axtone’s very own NO_ID on the main stage at this year’s Tomorrowland main stage, subsequent support has come from Above & Beyond, Dirty South, Nicky Romero, Radio 1′s Danny Howard & many more.

Long-term fans of Axtone, CLMD have been making huge strides in the music industry over the past 12 months with their melodic take on modern house music, releases such as ‘The Stockholm Syndrome’ & ‘Black Eyes and Blue’ along with their take on Arty’s ‘Together We Are’ have solidified their position as true rising stars. This track yet again proves their production capabilities, delivering a perfect club house remix of ‘Falling’.

Arty feat. Chris James – Together We Are (Remixes + Official Video)

Together-We-Are

The record that created an ‘emotional connection across a field of thousands’, that holds a special place for fans across all musical backgrounds and shot up the Beatport charts to #2 in a matter of days now gets its full release worldwide, accompanied by an official full-length video.

Also bolstering the ‘Together We Are’ story, Arty enlisted four remix artists soon to join the highest ranks of the electronic dance world. The M Machine, firstly apply their signature brand of alternative melodies with cuts of infectious house, whereas CLMD swoop in and push the elation to the limit with their stirring and emotional chord progressions. Audien, then tears through the original like a steam train – adding heavy electro, both befitting and enriching to the original piece. Last but certainly not least, Whiiite delivers an unrelenting and welcome drop of hard hitting electro house. All 4 takes on Arty’s magnificent opus supply a complimenting counterpart that truly highlights the diversity of the young Russian star.

Eye Emma Jedi – Sin (CLMD Remix)

CLMD

Soon after releasing “Falling Like Angels”, Norwegian duo Carl Louis and Martin Danielle continue their fine record of releases with the much awaited mix of Sin, the single from Eye Emma Jedi. Going away from the usual progressive rhythm, this is by far one of the best remix efforts of the year. With a positive vibe, slower, bassier line, this track qualifies as super ‘chilled’! CLMD take a turn for the unexpected for a sophisticated breeze of warm Electronica over the London band’s haunting top line.
