Moombahton maniac Dillon Francis has brought to the table his version of Passion Pit’s “Carried Away”. The already famous house remix of the track by Tiesto was dropped at Ultra Music Festival and gained instant popularity by all electronic music fans. Undoubtedly so, comparison is bound to take place even though the styles are completely different. Completely pleased with this remix, Dillon’s calls it one of his ” favourites to date”. He has taken the chord progression and vocals and personified it with his mix of moombahton and acid. When you hear this remix, don’t compare it. Just appreciate it.

The Dutch prodigy, Tijs Verwest better known as Tiesto starts off 2013 by remixing an American indie rock band – Passion Pit‘s latest single ‘Carried Away’. Tijs who have remixed tracks like ‘Sweet Nothing’ by Calvin Harris, ‘Just One Last Time’ by David Guetta, ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ by Gotye in the past, now takes up the daunting task to convert this mellow, vocal heavy indie track ‘Carried Away’ into a festival banger. He gives his signature dutch treatment to ‘Carried Away’ by bringing the gigantic chords, melodic heavy bassline over the catchy sing-a-long vocals done by the band. Making it lovable for house music listeners and radio friendly at the same time.
The official video to the track also comes out along with its release, which is also interesting to watch depicting youngsters taking some weird colorful drug thing which on inflammation makes them burst into multiple bodies.
