The Dutch prodigy, Tijs Verwest better known as Tiesto starts off 2013 by remixing an American indie rock band – Passion Pit‘s latest single ‘Carried Away’. Tijs who have remixed tracks like ‘Sweet Nothing’ by Calvin Harris, ‘Just One Last Time’ by David Guetta, ‘Somebody That I Used To Know’ by Gotye in the past, now takes up the daunting task to convert this mellow, vocal heavy indie track ‘Carried Away’ into a festival banger. He gives his signature dutch treatment to ‘Carried Away’ by bringing the gigantic chords, melodic heavy bassline over the catchy sing-a-long vocals done by the band. Making it lovable for house music listeners and radio friendly at the same time.

The official video to the track also comes out along with its release, which is also interesting to watch depicting youngsters taking some weird colorful drug thing which on inflammation makes them burst into multiple bodies.
