The series, titled “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off,” is set to be released on Blu-ray starting December 2. Fans eager to secure their copy can place preorders now for $25 through Amazon and Walmart. It’s worth noting that Amazon has already exhausted its preorder stock at least a couple of times, indicating high demand. Therefore, securing a preorder promptly is advisable for those keen on owning the series.
It’s relatively rare for Netflix originals to be offered in physical formats, making the Blu-ray release of “Scott Pilgrim Takes Off” particularly special. This release places it among a select few Netflix animated series like “Castlevania,” “Arcane,” and “Sonic Prime” that have also been made available physically.
For those looking to get reacquainted with “Scott Pilgrim vs. The World” before their Blu-ray arrives, the 2010 movie is currently available in a 4K Blu-ray edition for just $19, reduced from $25, exclusively on Amazon. More affordable options include the standard Blu-ray and DVD editions. Directed by Edgar Wright, the film is celebrated for its unique comic book-style cinematography and visual effects. Alternatively, the Precious Little Slipcase Collection, which includes all six volumes in paperback, is available for $66.27, originally priced at $90.
The full-color editions are also on sale; the 20th Anniversary Color Box Set is discounted to $129 from the original $250, though it has previously been listed around $100. Individual hardcover volumes of the six Color Editions are available for $21 or less, while paperback compendiums covering two volumes each are priced at $30. Unfortunately, the third and final compendium in the Color Collection is currently sold out.
