Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Part 2: Limited Edition Blu-Ray Drops This Fall!

The initial part of the highly acclaimed anime series Frieren has recently been released on Blu-ray. Fans can look forward to the continuation as the second installment, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, is set to debut later this year. The standard edition of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Part 2 came out in September at a price of $70, while the premium Limited Edition is set to release on October 21, now available for $175, reduced from its original price of $220.

Based on the manga by Kanehito Yamada and Tsukasa Abe, Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End is a fantasy anime that follows an elf mage named Frieren on her profound journey to discover the place where souls rest. This quest is driven by her desire to reconnect with her former ally, Himmel, who led their group in defeating the Demon King many years earlier. Due to her elven heritage, Frieren lives much longer than her human counterparts and perceives time differently, adding a unique depth to her character. The series has been lauded for its complex characters, stunning visuals, and elaborate fantasy settings.

Although these Blu-ray releases bring fans up to date with the anime’s progress, they do not encompass the complete narrative. The second season of the series is anticipated to premiere in January 2026. For those eager to continue the story sooner, the Frieren manga is available, with volumes 1 through 13 already translated into English and available for purchase.
